I booked the appointment in K&S first time last Tuesday. I liked the atmosphere of the salon. I thought it was a really nice place. The staff was very professional. I definitely recommend this salon. I liked the haircut that Yan did for me. It was amazing and just what I wanted.

Professional and great customer service. A couple months ago I got a single process and a blow out done - but the color job did not turn out to be correct, so the manager/owner stepped in and helped fix the color himself. I was impressed by the good customer service and fully recommend the salon.

Have done my hair with Kizzy for years! Best color and Curls expert ever! I get bored with my hair constantly varying lengths and color.  I particularly loved her balayage and the time we did pink highlights! Absolut best! ✨️

I’ve been going to Ivan for years, the best cut and color I’ve ever had! He knows what works for your face and lifestyle, I trust him to guide me in the type of cut/color I should get. I’m constantly asked who does my hair, multiple friends and family members now go to Ivan.

The first time Ivan did my hair in 2018, I remember walking into the salon with my unstyled lions mane and he confidently announced “you’re filipina! Nick is so wonderful! I went to K&S for blonde balayage and a haircut after over a year of not coloring or cutting my hair. Nick came up with a personalized plan for my ideal hair color that looked natural and would be low maintenance. He took his time and was so meticulous even though we went well over the allotted time (because I have so much hair!). I couldn't be more obsessed with the final product and cannot recommend him enough as both an expert colorist and as an overall person! Also everyone at the salon is seriously great and the vibes are perfect. Thanks so much K&S!

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience at K&S Salon last week when we had our hair and make up done for my sons wedding in NYC.

Mary is the BEST I haven’t let anyone else touch my hair in almost 2 years. I came to K&S since she joined the team and love the salon. The location is amazing, super close to the train. I commented how perfect the lighting was and talked to the owner Yan (I’m not sure how he spells it) and he told me how much care and time he put into finding the perfect lighting. They are VERY on top of covid cleaning requirements and everyone wore their masks the entire time.

Amazing cut and style! Yan is magic. I go to for for both a cut and color. He knows exactly what he is doing and I leave every time with exactly what I wanted. I have been going to him for over two years.

I had a wonderful experience here a few weeks ago. I was looking for a new salon and tried K&S and I’m so happy. It’s a clean, beautiful, modern salon and was a great experience. Yan was great and did a beautiful job on my hair that was desperate for some TLC due to Covid and lack of a haircut.  I definitely recommend coming here and I will be going back

I've been coming here for about 3 years, I can't believe I haven't posted a review yet. Yan is the only person in NYC I've been able to trust completely & consistently with my hair and every cut and color experience has been amazing. He understands how to make blonde highlights pop while remaining super natural looking, and he's also super cool/laid back and easy to talk to.

The R+Co products are phenomenal, they have the best music playlists, and you can get a coffee/espresso drink while getting your hair done. You will feel like a brand new person coming out of here, highly recommend.

Note: tips are cash only so make sure you have some $ on you when you come in! (I made this mistake my first time and had to run out to find an ATM).

Covid safety: everyone has to use hand sanitizer and have their temperature checked when coming in, clients and employees have masks on at all times, everything is super clean.

Perfect!!! Yexael is so intelligent and thoughtful about exactly what you want and how he can get you there. He even finds photos so you are both together in the vision for your hair. He also loves his work and has so much passion in what he does- simply the best you can find!! The salon is also clean and quiet and everyone is lovely.

Yan is absolutely AMAZING! He is the best hair stylist I have ever had and I am very picky about who cuts my hair. I will not go to anyone else now that I've found him! Yan highlighted and cut my hair and I LOVE the results! I went in with some highlights that needed to be corrected and he was a magician! Timur is W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L! I saw him for a hair cut and I am very very happy with the results. Its exactly what I wanted!  Previously he also colored my hair into the perfect shades (a mix of balayage and highlights) although I went in thinking I wanted something else entirely. He is very professional and an expert in what he does and I'm glad I listened to his opinion. He has a lot of attention to detail and he will take the time to ensure the end result is perfect. Also he has a lot of great recommendations and tips for maintaining your hair. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIMUR!

I have been going to the same person for years now and have been happy with the results. I have always received compliments on my blonde color and people asking where I get my hair done. But my girl only did color and I had to get my hair cut with someone else (typical in NY).  I found myself usually blow drying my own hair and leaving the salon with my hair tied back. I missed getting a blow out when paying so much for my coloring (again typical for NY).

So I decided to look for someone new. I did some research, I take my hair VERY seriously ;) And found Yan and K&S Salon. Their reviews were exceptional so I decided to book an appointment.

I booked a full set of highlights & a cut. All I can say is that I was BEYOND happy with the results. Yan colored my hair a little differntly that would prolong my next visit. I have very long hair and it grows fast so I usually try to go in every 5-6 weeks at the most. And he was right! My roots were less visible than before.

My cut was great, he did exactly what I asked for even though I miss those two inches ;) And he was right! I have received compliments on my hair and have referred friends to go to his salon.

The salon is nice, clean and in a prime location, Mestpacking area.

I just booked my second visit and am looking forward to getting my blonde fix again!

Simply the best--Sean (Yan) is one of the few stylists in NYC whom I trust with my challenging hair. He consistently delivers outstanding results in texture and overall style. Yan is a master of blondes! He knew immediately the color that would work best with my skin-tone (not the cold tones I had been getting for years!).   Sure enough, the man knows has skills -- the color came out beautifully! Who knew it was possible to go golden without being brassy.  I have found my new hair guru!
